Flowerpot Skatepark, Exeter

Exeter has always had a really strong Skate and BMX scene. This has been heavily supported by local shop 'The Boarding House', who have been involved with getting ramps and parks built in Exeter since the 80's. The re-vamping of the old Flowerpots Park has been no exception.

The old wooden ramps and tarmac slab have been removed to make way for the all new concrete park and whether it’s the bowl, the stairs and handrails, the ledges or one of the other unique features in the park that takes your fancy there is something here for everyone. The use of coloured concrete has been introduced to break up the dull grey concrete seen in many parks, it adds another level to the aesthetics and function of the park, hinting at new lines and making it easier on the eye for users.

With such an established scene comes a lot of raw talent and this new park should help Exeter bring up a next generation of BMX and Skateboard rippers!
